Learning for life

The staff of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School are dedicated to ensure positive learning outcomes for all children. Our teaching staff work collaboratively with one another to share resources, planning ideas and teaching tools to enhance the delivery of the curriculum for our students. Additionally, our teachers and teacher assistants are trained in a variety of programs delivered in the classroom to support student learning and development.  We have high behaviour expectations that are modelled, taught and positively reinforced and we provide support for all students to reach their potential.

The Curriculum at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School is based on the Australian Curriculum and the Early Years Framework. We strive to ensure that our teaching and learning programs take into consideration the needs of all our students.

Our Lady of Mercy also provides your child with an opportunity to discover their faith through our Religious Education programs. The Good News for Living framework guides our Religious Education program and our School community works to inspire your child’s values education through the Spirit of Jesus program.
