From the Principal:
Dear Parents/Carers,
Congratulations to the children on their success at the Devonport Eisteddfod today. Prep were placed highly commended. Grade 1 came third and Grade 2 won the section. Grade 5/6 also had success and took out first place with Grade 3/4 getting a highly commended result. Everyone did an excellent job!
I will be on long service leave for the next 4 weeks. Michelle Donohoe and Megan Badcock will be acting Principal and Deputy Principal. They will be available to receive and compliments or concerns that you may have.
Look forward to seeing everyone next term.
Kinder Fun:
While most of the school were attending the Devonport Eisteddfod the Kinders took over the "big" playground!! Needless to say they had a ball!!
Mercy Crew News:
Once again the Mercy Crew have done a great job setting up the Father's Day Stall. Lot's of happy shoppers today. We wish all our Father's/Carers a wonderful day this Sunday. Total amount raised was $255.00. What a wonderful result.
Friday Sport:
Our Lady of Mercy will be playing footbal and netball at Hagley on Friday 8th September. Leaving Our Lady of Mercy at 12:00pm, parents are welcome to attend the games.
Premier's Reading Challenge:
A friendly reminder that the Premier's Reading Challenge finishes tomorrow, 1st September. Please return your Reading Log to your classroom teacher.
Curious Kids Sessions:
Don't forget that Curious Kids sessions are running three times per week. Monday 9:30-11:00am and Thursday at Our Lady of Mercy, and Monday afternoon at Westbury Catholic Presbytery Hall, 1:00-2:30pm. Come along and have some fun!!
